Artist books bring a more tactile, intimate expression of my photography. I love being able to extend the visual nature of my images into something which can be held and touched.

Beneath and Beyond Artist books
I have used a concertina flag book structure for these 3 books in this series. The structural element of these books represents the interrelationship between scientific theories of parallel universes and philosophical and theological expressions from some of our great philosophers. I have included poetry and words from Michio Kaku, Lord Byron and Rumi as text in these sculptural artist books.
Materials used; buckram, Fabriano paper, Hahnemuhle Photo rag, pigment ink. All materials are acid free

Hindsight Artist Books
I have used the structure of one of my father’s albums as the book for this series. The family album plays such and important role in memory. In this book I have included all the images from my exhibition, using printed interleaves with images from my printed sheer curtains.
Materials used; Silk embossed paper, buckram, Hahnemuhle Photo rag, pigment ink. All materials are acid free.
