Wished someone had told me this when I started weaving. What NOT to do with your gorgeous Indie dyed singles from the festival; or for that project that didn’t quite get made! Excited about using them in your weaving? STOP - before you start warping!! You can use any yarns you like for your warp; BUT, with awareness. Discernment is necessary. Shredding it - is a thing! Save this in your weaving ‘note to self’ folder, and share with your creative bestie, so you avoid broken warp yarns!

Your hands ARE the point.  The variations in what you create with your own hands are the traces and evidence that it was created by a unique human.

Shredding it - in this case is NOT good! Lol Singles yarns can be an issue if used in the warp. I wished someone had told me this when I stared weaving!
