Fibre Arts

Through my hands I endeavour to create more light in the world; as a healer, photographer and fibre-artist.

My first introduction to working with wool and yarn was as a teenager when for my first project to occupy my time as I healed after an illness, I launched into knitting a lace jumper using mohair. I dived in boldly – as I do with most things in my life!

I then bred coloured angoras and learned to spin yarn in my early 20’s; and after a recent severe injury and subsequent illness, knitting was my saviour.

I am curious and creative. I adventure the world, and my experiences are the foundation for my developing philosophies; perspectives on life; and my expression through both my visual and fibre art.
