This land in the Pilbara region and Western Australia has such an incredibly ancient feel. The oldest rocks on the planet which are exposed are found in this part of Western Australia.

I felt a sense of resilience and timelessness with the trees on this ancient landscape, and experimented with playing with the processing of these trees so they had a more ‘aged’ feel and suggested ‘history’ and something in the past.
