Sorry boys – but my post on Pelvic floor exercises for the male photographer will be next post because I wanted to share some exciting news.
My body of work “In our hands”, will be exhibited in Melbourne at Red Gallery from April 10th – 27th 2013… with the opening night on Wednesday April 10th from 6-8pm. Yippee!!! Finally this beautiful body of work will breathe in another space other than my studio !!
This body of work was inspired by the geology of the Kimberley region, when Max and I had an amazing journey there a few years ago. In this body of work I have exciting works where I have face mounted on to acrylic, images which I have printed myself on to clear film. I have combined these with pastel paintings and watercolours to create multimedia works which illustrate my interpretation of geological time and our place within the geological history of the Earth.
I have also made artist books and 3D sculptures which can be handled by the viewer. As I often do with my bodies of work when I display them… I will be creating an installation where it is more than just walking through a gallery looking at images on the walls… I will provide an opportunity for those who come to my exhibition to experience seeing, touching, listening and feeling my artworks.
I will keep everyone updated with a sneak preview of some of my works over the next few months.
… so mark the date in your diary and hope to see you there!!!

Well done Julie – I’ve noted the Red Gallery in my diary for next April. I’ll look forward to it.
I see you’ve expanded your intrerests to mens pelvic floor exercises! I hope you’re not putting Max through a too rigorous routine.
Good to see you’ve got some workshops up an running. This is something I want to do as well – but it needs to wait for retirement.
Regards
