Max and I stumbled upon this most profoundly beautiful gorge in the Karijini National Park this afternoon – Hamersley Gorge.
The feeling I had whilst sitting and walking over the rocks, and slowly floating in the water – was quite overwhelming. This felt like such a sacred place where the evidence of time – the folding and undulating layers of sedimentary rock – made me feel so humble in the presence of result of the powerful forces of the Earth and Universe.
It was such a privilege to have spent time in this truly breathtakingly special place today.
