November 2010 – To the Simpson Desert

This is my trip to the desert garden in November 2010. hungry-storm

 


We have just returned from the GREEN CENTRE. It was a privilege and such a humbling experience to journey through this beautiful landscape after so much nourishing rain.

Wherever we camp we are conscious of our impact and remove all our waste with us. We carry and not burn our rubbish; we have our own toilet so our waste is not left; and I am a strong advocate to women to take with them in a zip lock bag their used toilet paper from roadside wees, instead of leaving it disrespectfully to litter the environment.
