Size DOES matter!!!! .. and this one would be amazing BIG !!!!

Cloud_Size-does-matter

In this image I just felt like I wanted to walk in.. and explore around each and every area of light and softness with my hands and feet.

For me this is an example and an opportunity to examine the importance of print size with images. I had this visceral sensation that I wanted to walk through this cloud landscape… therefore I knew that if I ever wanted to print this image I would need to print it really, really big…. so that when it was on the wall in front of me I actually felt like I could really step into it… bringing my imagination closer to the visceral feeling I felt when I look at this image.

Do you have any images which lend themselves to be printed really large? What led you to determining this?? Was it a physical sensation? What was the response to the image that you had which led you to think that it would be great to print it large?

Would love to hear your ideas.

Click on the image a couple of times so you can see it at full screen size, to see the beautiful areas of textured light over the clouds.

About the Author: Julie
I am a Journeywoman. I live my life as an explorer. An adventurer. An Observer. An Artist. There is no differentiation between how I live my life and the art that is an expression of it. It is through my experience adventuring the unknown, that I learn more about myself. My aim through this connection is to live where my expression is fully in alignment with the essence of who I am. “In the field of Fine-Art Photography, Julie stands apart from others with the way she sees the world and expresses her connection within it. Julie Stephenson’s photographs are sublime. Her work is an expression of her deep connection; and a gift to the world.”
