“… the lines of our life have intersected.” Duane Michals

“It is no accident that you are reading this. I am making black marks on white paper. These marks are my thoughts, and although I do not know who you are reading this now, in some way the lines of our lives have intersected… For the length of these few sentences, we meet here.

It is no accident that you are reading this. This moment has been waiting for you, I have been waiting for you. Remember me.”
– Duane Michals

Lines-of-our-life-have-intersected-700x884

I somehow found myself on Duane Michals website tonight and created this work inspired by his words which I have quoted above, using images I took with my iphone last week.

I layered 3 images and used different blending modes to create quite different and individual images… just as we are – individuals whose lines of our life have intersected. Moments of synchronicity…of energy shared and intersected.

About the Author: Julie
I am a Journeywoman. I live my life as an explorer. An adventurer. An Observer. An Artist. There is no differentiation between how I live my life and the art that is an expression of it. It is through my experience adventuring the unknown, that I learn more about myself. My aim through this connection is to live where my expression is fully in alignment with the essence of who I am. “In the field of Fine-Art Photography, Julie stands apart from others with the way she sees the world and expresses her connection within it. Julie Stephenson’s photographs are sublime. Her work is an expression of her deep connection; and a gift to the world.”
