Four things I learned from one month not buying yarn for my weaving. Save this for your own reference! 1. Miss chatting to our postman about yarn. 2. Just don’t have the right yellow. 3. Nobody, yes nobody gave me a gold crown. Not even a gold star! 4. I was so sad I took up a hobby. Sewing. I’ve bought heaps of fabric! So, because I’m not sure I even like sewing now, it was all pointless. Back to weaving now. Oops. Save this as a reminder if you ever accidentally missed some slots threading your reed. It’s an easy fix as long as you find the perfect weight to keep the replaced threads the same tension as the rest of the warp. Always surprises here in my studio. Need a bit more of that? Come join in!
