The start of a new adventure…. and new perspectives.
I have smelled floods and tasted dust in the Channel Country. I have never before seen this incredibly beautiful and ecologically significant area before from the sky. Today is the beginning of new perspectives.
As Max and I fly to Singapore then on to London for a wonderful journey around parts of Europe in a 1929 Vintage car, I recognise that I am seeing below from my widow seat a new perspective of the landscape which is truly rich, interesting, and surprising.
As many of you know my photography is an avenue for me to investigate ME…. to help me learn about me… and today I am recognising more deeply the importance of new perspectives to enrich my life.
With an hour to go before we land in Singapore I quickly gathered some of my images i have just taken with my trusty Canon G10 happy snapper…and quickly made a tapestry of a new perspective of the land where I have previously driven and walked so extensively.
This will remind me of my new awareness of the importance of new perspectives in my life.
Have you ever had a time in your life where an event, circumstance or even a milestone; birthday; holiday; achievement; accident, illness or grief; or an experience, being in a place or even meeting with someone – has prompted something inside you to recognise that a new way of seeing and perhaps even a new way of looking at the world just happens… or even is necessary??
Recognising when there is something in one’s life which is a catalyst for change often helps me understand myself better, and helps me to be more aware of my next steps and develop the clarity for the direction and journey for which those steps take me.
