Into Norseman late one afternoon and had our first shower for a week in Service Station ammenities ! Ohhhh for a lovely warm shower. Birds baths have been a highlight after dinner…but have been rather cold as winter approaches.

We took a dirt road which we thought would be interesting for a couple of hours …hmmmmm 5pm and we were still doing 10km/hour winding through some amazing Salmon Gum forests and Acacia plains which had been devestated a couple of years ago from fires caused by lightning strikes. It was a fantastic drive…very isolated… and wonderful to be away from the road trains which thunder down the dirt roads amongst the myriad of mines in the area.
