Qld summer… just wonderful! Cicadas. Dragonflies. Koels. Sweaty mountain walks with the afternoon sea breeze. Hot balmy days with the cricket and tennis…. skinny dipping in the pool ……the smell of freshly mown grass and the oils from the eucalypts in the hot long days.
I’m back home after an incredible journey to Bhutan… and only 3 weeks to attend some tennis at the Brisbane International Tennis tournament (hope to see Nadal and Wawrinka – hehehe); read some of the books I purchased in Bhutan; listen to chanting and music from Bhutan which was so generously gifted to me; re-vamp a website for a friend; make some slide-shows….and re-group and prepare for being away for 3 months!!!! We are off to northern US and Canada on a skiing trip for 6 weeks… and I’m going to learn to ski!!! hehehe….
…..Then I am off from LA to Norway for my Art residency in the Arctic!!! I have 2 weeks between our skiing trip until the commencement of the Arctic residency; so I decided to pop to the Faroe Islands for 10 days before the residency. The Faroe islands are between Iceland and Norway. I’m staying in a little stone hut with a green sod turf roof 10 feet beside the water on a fjord!!!hehe
I’m so excited… with such incredible opportunities ahead for me in 2017. I will also be returning to Tonga in August/September…. a remarkable trip which seemed to be micromanaged by the Universe in how it came to manifest…. then in October/ November/ December, Max and I are off to Africa so Penny can carry us around in the African Safari car rally.
Qld summer is wonderful and life is good!!. 🙂
