A new perspective

Sometimes… it is really good to take a new perspective of things. I’ve had a few challenges over the past couple of weeks, and I decided I needed a new perspective. I packed a picnic, and off we went on a two and a half hour drive and walked in the bush at Purling Brook Falls and Canyon Lookout Walk at Springbrook, QLD.

I asked Max when he thought all the concrete steps and pathways were built; and as only Max would think… took out his iPhone, Googled.. and started reading out to me the history of the paths which were made in the 1920’s. From then on I imagined a time back then… and processed these images accordingly.

I took a new perspective… firstly for myself… then in imagining a time gone by, and a forest with history of man’s habitation, influence and the recording of it.

Is there any way that you can take a new perspective on something??.. pack up a picnic and go for a walk somewhere??.. You never know what possibilities may open up to you.

About the Author: Julie
I am a Journeywoman. I live my life as an explorer. An adventurer. An Observer. An Artist. There is no differentiation between how I live my life and the art that is an expression of it. It is through my experience adventuring the unknown, that I learn more about myself. My aim through this connection is to live where my expression is fully in alignment with the essence of who I am. “In the field of Fine-Art Photography, Julie stands apart from others with the way she sees the world and expresses her connection within it. Julie Stephenson’s photographs are sublime. Her work is an expression of her deep connection; and a gift to the world.”
