Off we go….brmmmmmm – From London to Inverness for the Celtic Tour 2013 Vintage car rally.

On the road…. fuelled up and brmmmm.. then NO brmmmm. Oh no! The car stopped just as we pulled out on to the highway after fuelling up ready to drive the day from London to Inverness where the Celtic Tour 2013, organised by Daniel Ward was to start.

There was nothing. No spark. No splutter. No bang. Nothing….

So I leapt out and in true Flintstone style got my little legs going as fast as they could trying to push the car off the highway to somewhere a little safer out of the path of the accelerating traffic behind us.

“It is like there isn’t any fuel!”

Oh wait…… perhaps the fuel switch wasn’t turned back on after we filled up.  LOL

After this minor lapse in competency, we were on our way to Inverness. Here is a gallery of images for you to see our journey. It was a fabulous drive – filled with history and buildings from hundreds of years ago…and sneaking through were rugged mountains with  the remnants of late summer snow.
