Roadtrip India in a 100 year old vintage car was incredible! Not what I had envisioned. It was WAYYYY better! I’m a weaver. What are these for?  Discovering these in my cupboard and using them for this was a game changer for my warping! They make it so easy so I don’t have to fuss with tying knots. I just slip them on! Here I use something similar to the item I used ice-climbing a volcano in Chile: but not as heavy duty!  Often in my weaving I use items which suit just perfectly the purpose I need them for; but weren’t originally intended for that specific use.  Love it when I do that! Here I’m offering 10 seconds of calm. It seems like everything’s going crazy right now. Anxiety. Illness. Grief. Uncertainty.   I’m craving quiet and connection. I can’t do things quickly any more. I choose to spend hours in my studio. The ritual of weaving and spinning. This helps me.   It is not just about the finished pieces. It’s about connection and expression.  I’m developing a deeper sense of gratitude using my experiences as a foundation for my handwoven blankets.  It’s healing.
